The concept of Yin and Yang originates in ancient Chinese metaphysics, which describes two primal opposing but complementary forces found in all things in the universe. Yin, the darker element, is passive, dark, and feminine; Yang, the brighter element, is active, light, and masculine. What is the meaning of the inverse-dots found within each element?
    A.   Yin and Yang are interdependent. For example, valleys cannot exist without peaks.
    B.   Yin and Yang are opposites. For example, the warmth of summer is in direct contrast to the cold of winter.
    C.   Yin and Yang are harmonious when they are in balance. For example, over-eating (an imbalance) causes indigestion.
    D.   Yin has the seed of Yang in it, and Yang has the seed of Yin in it. For example, the hardest stone is easiest to break precisely because of its brittleness.
