Hi, I am new to this tutorial website.

On my own, I have been self-studying grammar, college comprenension, and writing essentials.

My question is, What are the correct procedures of paraphrasing? For example, responding to prose and poetry. Does it start of the following in order:

Who? Subject
Did What?   subject performs
When? Time
How?   Procedures or instructions
Why?   Reasons for subject's purpose.

Can you give me some examples of how to paraphrase some certain text from lengthy paragraphs? That way, I can practice some of the examples on how to respond to prose and poetry.

Thanks
