Business is business, and every firm has to produce and market its goods. Why, then, cannot managers apply the techniques and concepts they have learned in their own country to other areas of the world?

Ill take a guess and say:

Each country has its own Consumer Protection Laws and Regulations that every firm selling and producing domestically needs to comply with. ie Internationl countries need to comply with the market regulations of the country in which they are selling in.
