I am doing a project where I am determining if holding a pole helps maintain balance while walking on a tightrope or balance beam.
What principal should I search for my conclusion? I do not know which principal my project uses.
As our hypothesis, we guessed that the increase of gravity will pull over a larger area, thus, balancing the weight out over a larger area. This would make it easier for one to walk along the plank. Is that what happened?
Should I elevate the plank in my experiment?
