ok, im aware that debt equity ratio is debt over equity. So to have a debt of .28 it means u have .28 debt for every dollar so therefore u have .72 in equity. so the debt equity ratio is .39. however how woold it calculate them separate if the problemon only said it has a debt equity of .50. it says it means that the equity is 2 and debt is 1, how did they conclude that? i am trying to find the wacc, and all im giving is the debt equity ratio is .62. how do i find the debt separate n equity separate?
