hi not sure if this should go here but i really need some help!
Solve the equation:

3 cot^2 x - 1 = 0

okay i add the one and divide the 3 and get:

cot^2x = 1/3

past that i am confused...how do i solve for x in degrees?

do u know the values for the followings? Thats the basic trigonometry.

sin 0= 0

sin 30 = 1/2

sin 45 =1/
 [2] 

sin 60 =
 [3] 
/2

sin 90 = 1

similarly 4 other trigonometric functions like cos , tan , cot ,etc. If u have any confusion then pm me or mail me
