What is the x-intercept and the y-intercept for 3x + y = 6
        Rewrite in Gradient  Form    " y = mx + c "
     y = -3x + 6     Therefore y-intercept is  6

Along x-axis y is = 0,
               0 = -3x + 6
             3x = 6
               x = 6/3
                 = 2         Therefore  x-intercept is 2

the answer written above is correctly explained and i dont have to write anything. i will simply add wat x, y intercept means.x intercept is where the givenline touches x axis where as y intercept is where the given line touches y axis. We must note at X axis Y=0 and at Y axis x=0 .
