Mind Mapping
What is Mind Mapping?
It
is a powerful creative thinking tool now used by millions
of people around the world - from ages 10 to 100 - whenever
they wish to use their brains far more efficiently. Originated
by Tony Buzan, a leading authority on thinking, creativity
and how the brain works.
It
will accelerate your ability to learn, improve your memory,
creativity and concentration. An alternative note taking technique
that also doubles up as a creative thinking tool. It draws
on the strengths of both sides of the brain. The words are
generated by from the left brain, the colours and images come
from the right side.
Mind
Mapping is taught to executives of Fortune 500 companies like
Boeing, IBM and HP to enhance their creative thinking and
problem solving. It is more than just a way to take notes
- it's really a way to develop the right side of the brain
which few people really tap.
Similar
to a road map, a Mind Map will:
Give you an overview of a large subject/area, on just one
sheet of paper
Enable
you to plan routes/make choices
Let
you know where you are going, and where you have been
Gather
and hold large amounts of data
Encourage
creative thinking and problem-solving by looking for alternative
pathways
Be
extremely efficient
Be
enjoyable to look at, read and muse
Dramatically enhance the capacity of
your memory!
